About The Queen’s Cabinet

A small, woman-owned business built on a genuine love of English history and the objects that carry it forward.

The Curator

Born in the wrong era.
Sourcing in exactly the right one.

My name is Kirsten. I am the owner, buyer, and the person behind every piece you will find in The Queen’s Cabinet. I have always been drawn to English history in a way that is difficult to fully explain — the craftsmanship of other centuries, the rooms and objects that carried it forward.

The Full Story

The Queen’s Cabinet is where that love of history found a home. It is a small, woman-owned business in North Carolina, built on the belief that the stories told through antiques are worth seeking out and sharing. Our booth is at Rustique Antiques and Collectibles in Sanford, where you will find a rotating collection of English and European pieces sourced from estate sales across the state, dealer relationships built over time, and the occasional trip to find something worth bringing back.

I also work full-time in global marketing, which gives me a trained eye for quality and a clear sense of what deserves attention. That same instinct drives how I buy. I look for pieces with genuine character, honest condition, and a price that reflects their actual worth. Nothing ends up in the booth by accident.

If you share a love of English history, fine craftsmanship, or the quiet satisfaction of a room with real things in it, you will feel right at home here.

Come find us at Rustique Antiques in Sanford, NC. The booth changes regularly, and every piece is there for a reason.
